We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties…

Ok… so I’m travelling for work and having a god-awful time uploading my post from today. 😦

My hotel is trying to fix their internet access because the speed is so slow about all I can do is throw is text message-type post up.

I did write today and hope to resume normal posting tomorrow!

Thoughts About Speaking

My brothers and I have been invited to speak at our high school’s graduation in a few weeks. I’m incredibly honored and really excited for the opportunity. Due to logistics and schedules (I’m the only one living in our hometown right now) it looks like only two of the four of us will be speaking. So Chris and I (you may remember him as the ill-fated test pilot in our Indoor Bobsledding adventure) have started chatting about the theme of the speech.

I believe that, generally speaking, people have to walk their own paths and learn through their own missteps. Otherwise, history would be the single most important important subject taught in school. Our history as a species would then be a series of single misfortunes that we as a people would never repeat. Clearly, this isn’t the case and we usually have to touch the stove to understand that it’s hot. Wrote Today? Yup!

Quick check in: wrote some more on Story Blue today. It sits at just under 3000 words- which is nothing spectacular but definitely a good start.

It’s going to be a challenging week coming up to stick to my 30 Days of Write challenge- I’ll be out of town for work most of the week. I’m making my list of everything I need to keep writing while traveling. Wish me luck and stay tuned!

Every relationship has stuff that creates conflict. These items form the battlefront of the Stuff Wars. A No Man’s Land, if you will.

T.G.I.F.F.

Thank God It’s F*cking Friday!

Why is it that the 4 day work weeks seem to be tougher than the 5 day variety?

This is definitely a filler post- we will resume our regularly scheduled writing tomorrow…
